Medication Assisted Treatment Training

OVERVIEW: Buprenorphine waiver training is available for providers (Physicians, PAs, APRNs) interested in seeking a waiver to prescribe buprenorphine in the treatment of opioid use disorders. To obtain the waiver to prescribe, providers must complete at least eight hours of training. If your organization is new to offering MAT services, we encourage each provider to invite additional members from their care team.

Those who attend will gain access to Provider's Clinical Support System for Medication Assisted Treatment (PCSS-MAT). The organization offers a comprehensive library of materials, plus a no-cost clinical coaching/mentoring program to provide one-on-one technical assistance.

PLEASE NOTE: Prescribers who do not plan to apply for a waiver as well as staff who are not eligible for a waiver are encouraged to participate to advance their knowledge of MAT.
