Event Overview
Join AUCH for an informative session where Bachelors of Social Work (BSW) field placement directors from The University of Utah, Utah State University, and Southern Utah University will present valuable insights into their field placement programs. This session will cover the various programs’ key requirements, including the application process, expectations, and the structure of student placements.
Additionally, the directors will share real-world case examples of past students who have been placed in health care and primary care settings, highlighting the benefits these students brought to their placement locations. You’ll hear firsthand how social work students have contributed to improving patient care, enhancing interdisciplinary team collaboration, and addressing health related needs.
Whether you already incorporate BSW student interns or BSW level employees in your health center, or you are looking for ways to expand patient-centered care, this session will provide useful information about the positive impact bachelors level social workers can make in health care settings.
