Event Overview
This two-part series will cover the following in Session 1.
Session 1
This session introduces the concept of Huddles as a powerful communication tool within healthcare organizations. Attendees will explore the why behind Huddles, different types (administrative vs. care team), and strategies for successfully adopting Huddles into everyday practice to build a culture of proactive care and collaboration.
Session 1 Learning Objectives:
- Define what a Huddle is and articulate its role in improving team communication, patient care, and operational efficiency.
- Differentiate between administrative and care team Huddles, including their goals, participants, frequency, and topics.
- Describe the benefits of Huddles for healthcare teams and patients, with a focus on improving outcomes and addressing gaps in care.
- Identify team roles and responsibilities within various types of Huddles.
- Recognize key factors for integrating Huddles into an organization’s culture, including leadership support, scheduling, accountability, and documentation.
