Presenters
Shannon England-Rice HPV Coordinator, Utah Department of Health and Human Services
Since 2014, Shannon England-Rice has been with the Utah Department of Health & Human Services. She works with the Immunization Program as the HPV Coordinator. She has coordinated activities across the state as well as managed the statewide HPV media campaign for 11 years. Shannon graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Community Health Education and has previously worked for the Tooele County Health Department and Primary Children’s Hospital in Child Advocacy. She has six children & 3 grandbabies.
Kayla Rypien, Immunization Coordinator, Utah Department of Health and Human Services
Kayla Rypien has been with the Utah Department of Health for 20 years beginning in the Medicaid Program and then working with the Utah Department of Health and Human Services Immunization Program. Kayla received her degree in Community Health Education from Brigham Young University and is also a Certified Health Education Specialist. Kayla enjoys her work in immunizations, specifically her focus on HPV as well as vaccine safety education. She has three boys ages 18, 15 and 11.
