Medicare Updates for Utah Health Centers

OVERVIEW: CMS has recently released Medicare updates regarding billing for advanced care planning, transition care management, chronic care management, behavioral health integration, and psychiatric collaborative care management. Understanding the required elements to bill for these services is challenging. AUCH has coordinated a training through Noridian, who provides healthcare administration and support services for Medicare to review the billing and documentation elements for Health Centers to bill for these services.
