Credentialing and Privileging: From PINs to Procedures

Date/Time:  Friday, June 30, 2017, 9:30 – 10:30AM Mountain Time

Overview:  This webinar will provide guidance on the development and implementation of credentialing and privileging policies and procedures that reflect regulatory Program Information Notices (PINs) and set health centers up for success during Operational Site Visits (OSVs).

Presented by Charlene Frail-McGeever from MedCreds Plus, this one-hour webinar will provide participants with tools and tips to create application materials, privileging forms and primary source credentialing checklists that ensure health center compliance with PINS 2001-16 & 2002-22. A readiness review tool will be demonstrated to help you audit your files and the audience will be challenged to develop a clinical privilege form that meets PIN requirements.  Come prepared to discuss your best practices, suggestions, or corrective actions from previous site visits to share with others in the field.

Cost:  This event is FREE for staff of Region VIII health centers (Health Center Program Awardees and Look-Alikes) and Primary Care Associations (PCAs).  Continuing education credit is not available.
