Spanish Language for Health Care Professionals

This four-day course is an intensive, conversational and medical Spanish workshop consisting of medical dialogues, role-plays, visual aids, cross-cultural discussions, “edutainment”, and daily practice. The course curriculum provides an experience of immersion learning, an approach that has proven to be extremely suitable for those with limited time, and who must use their new language skills immediately with their Spanish-speaking patients. 

Up to three skill levels will be offered, with separate classes for each level. The skill levels will be determined based on the results of the participants’ completed self-assessment forms. It is anticipated that a first-time beginning level, more advanced-beginning level, and intermediate level will be offered depending on the skill levels of participants who register. If it is not possible to offer the needed skill level for an individual, full tuition will be refunded.
