Advocacy 101 for Health Centers
Overview: Each year, starting on the 4th Monday in January and ending 45 days later, the Utah Legislature meets to consider over 1000 new laws and policy changes and create and pass a state budget. If you live or work in Utah, purchase goods and services, send your children to public schools, use roads or public transportation, attend a public college, breathe Utah's air, or pay taxes of any kind - the legislative session directly impacts YOU!
Join us for an hour of informative discussion about how you, both as an employee of a Health Center and a resident of Utah, can become better informed about and be a part of the lawmaking process in Utah.
