Women’s Annual Well-Visit & Developing Guidelines/Protocols for RN-Led Clinic Initiatives

OVERVIEW: 

What is this about? RNs are educationally prepared to provide well-women’s annual visits including Pap-Smears, Breast Exams and Contraceptive Planning. The RNs role in these needed cares are performed in highly-functioning primary care settings using guidelines and protocols.

Please join us for this workshop where we will have time to cover content about how to do these screenings and also have time for a simulation experience. After lunch, we will be using women’s health cares as an example on writing a clinical guideline for your clinic.

PRE-WORK:  Attendees are strongly encouraged to complete the Women’s Well-Visit Modules, https://utahnepqr.org/rn-continuing-education/nurse-led-women-s-well-visit and this survey https://utahnursing.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_a3jsKCoFkGzYXvU, prior to attending the workshop so you are prepared to discuss and engage in the simulation training.

We will be reviewing the relevant online modules so please feel free to bring a tablet or laptop to follow along.
