RNs in Primary Care

This session will focus on encounters within primary care that may be led by an RN, including: the Annual Wellness Visit, Transitional Care Management, Chronic Care Management, End of Life and SBIRT. Additionally, we will explore other encounter types that may be led by a team of RNs in primary care.

The Presenter

Josie Moosman is a Clinical Manager and Registered Nurse at the Wayne Community Health Center (WCHC) in Bicknell, Utah. She has worked with patients to manage their chronic illnesses, as well as in quality improvement, infection control, emergency management, risk management, and as super user for the clinical EMR. Josie currently serves on an advisory board for tobacco cessation program with the Center for Hope, and as part of the Quality Improvement forum at AUCH.

Anyone involved with administrative work in a healthcare provider setting, including medical billers, medical coders, office managers, and finance teams.
