The Department of Psychiatry, in partnership with the Utah Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health and the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing will be hosting the 3rd Annual Addictions Update Conference on June 12-14, 2019. Medical, addiction, and behavioral health professionals are invited to attend the conference, which will take place at the Marriott University Park in Salt Lake City, UT.
The conference program focuses on increasing knowledge and competencies of substance use disorders facing today's diverse society in order to develop and implement effective prevention and intervention programs through science, policy and treatment. Ultimately, the conference hopes to facilitate improved systems, clinical modalities, and client care for individuals, families, and communities.
