Please join Colorado Community Health Network in Denver, Colorado on July 12, 2018 for Community Health Center Dental Programs: Strategies for Success! This training, facilitated by the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA), is open to staff members in leadership roles with CHC dental programs. This may include dental directors, dental operations directors, site dental directors, dental clinic managers, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and others as determinded by your Community Health Center.

The goals of this training are to:

• Support CHC leaders in enhancing their administrative and operational skills to lead and manage CHC dental programs
• Provide networking and peer learning opportunities for CHC dental program leaders
• Strengthen the oral health community in Colorado and Region VIII through an interactive training

Possible training topics will reflect curriculum developed for NNOHA’s Health Center Operations Manual and may include:

• data-driven quality improvement
• dental program financials
• risk management and infection control
• innovative staff utilization
• clinical excellence
• leadership
• integration

The specific agenda will be based on topics identified by prospective participants. Please help us create the agenda by completing a short survey about your interests by Friday, June 1.

Training and Travel Logistics:

• Date: July 12, 2018
• Time: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., light breakfast and lunch will be provided
• Location: Lowry Conference Center, 1061 Akron Way, Room 200A, Denver, Colorado
• Cost: Free for CCHN Members; $50.00 for non-CCHN members 
• Lodging: CCHN is in the final stages of arranging a discounted room block in Cherry Creek/Glendale area of Denver. We will send out the room block to all registrants as soon as information is available. For planning purposes, we anticipate the per-night cost of the hotel to be $169 before tax.
• Travel & Transportation: Please note that the hotel and conference location are approximately 10-15 minutes apart by car. The closest airport is Denver, Colorado. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel and hotel logistics.
• Continuing education: Through our partnership with NNOHA, CDE credits will be available for this training.

About NNOHA: NNOHA’s mission is to improve the oral health of underserved populations and contribute to overall health through leadership, advocacy, and support to oral health providers in the safety net.
