AUCH's telehealth program uses electronic information and telecommunications technology to train and support Health Center staff while offering patients the opportunity to receive necessary specialized services that may not otherwise be within financial or physical reach. Additionally, AUCH has partnered with the University of Utah to implement Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) - an innovative, no cost, healthcare program developed to mentor community providers in underserved areas in the treatment of chronic and complex diseases through the use of technology. Project ECHO, which bridges the gap between speciality care and primary care providers, currently covers:
