On March 27th, Mayor Ben McAdams and Mayor JoAnn Seghini cut the ribbon on Mid-Valley Health Clinic in Midvale which is operated by Utah Partners for Health.

Community members, local supporters, and the media came out to join in the festivities and tour the clinic.

UPFH received funding from the United States Department of Health and Human Services in September 2013 to support a new clinic that will provide access to quality preventive and primary health care for over 5,700 patients, including those who are uninsured. The funding was made available through The Affordable Care Act.

Mid-Valley Health Clinic, located at 8446 South Harrison Street in Midvale, adjacent to the Copperview Recreation Center, opened its doors on November 12, 2013 and is welcoming new patients. The clinic is open Monday through Friday with a full medical and administrative staff. The clinic accepts Medicaid, CHIP, PCN, or Medicare, most private insurances, and offers services on a sliding fee discount to qualified low-income patients who are uninsured.
