Site Manager - Provo

Direct Supervisor: Director of Support Services          

Schedule: FULL TIME HOURS M-F. 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school Diploma or GED, Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management is preferred or a related field or comparable work experience

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Requires a minimum of two years’ work experience

POSITION(S) SUPERVISED: East Bay Support Staff (FD/MA)

Position Summary And Responsibilities:

Coordination of MCHC processes, programs, and functions within their site.  He/she facilitates on-going quality/compliance control and utilization.  He/she directs/assists in projects delegated through the Executive Director, Director of Support Services, and Medical Director as needed.  He/she will report directly to the Director of Support Services during weekly Site Manager Meetings.  These meetings will be used to address operational concerns for their site and the organization as a whole.

Research and analyze the effectiveness of current facility practices, procedures, and patient flow.  He/she researches and, under the direction of the Director of Support Services, develops alternative processes or procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.  

Evaluate, develop, and implement new strategies for patient flow within their clinic.  He/she is responsible to reduce patient time in the visit process, evaluate/recommend/implement paper form reduction, and develop new forms to enhance effectiveness.  He/she facilitates effective scheduling of patient appointments and coordination of provider, patient and clinic needs. He/she will facilitate all QI/QA and PCMH activities within their site, working with the Director of Support Services and QI/QA Coordinator. He/she is responsible for all performance measures for their clinics making them available for use.

Management of receptionist staff, effective patient flow, customer service standards, and medical records.  He/she is also responsible for the management of medical support staff and coordination of provider’s schedules amongst multiple healthcare sites. 

Improve consumer/patient satisfaction.  He/she addresses and resolves, with Director of Support Services approval, patient concerns in a timely manner in order to facilitate a “patient friendly” clinic environment. 

MCHC is a Patient Centered Medical Home. This includes all staff members working as a team alongside patients to achieve a higher quality primary care experience. This position is integral to this process.

This position also is responsible for any and all other task that may be assigned to him/her by their supervisor that has not been described in their job description.
